Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized the opposition on Friday, accusing them of corruption and claiming that 21 parties have joined forces to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister. Shah addressed a public meeting in Udaipur, stating, “Opposition leaders gathered in Patna and held a press conference on a large stage. I saw the press conference and wondered who these people were. They represented 21 parties, all of whom are involved in corruption to the tune of 21 lakhs.” Shah also challenged the opposition, stating that none of them could level a single accusation of corruption against the Modi government. He added that if Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister, corruption will become the country’s destiny, but if Modi is re-elected, those engaged in corruption will go to jail. Shah criticized the 21 parties, claiming that they are more concerned with the future of their sons than the welfare of the people. He expressed confidence that Modi will be re-elected as Prime Minister in 2024 with 300 seats. Shah also highlighted the welfare schemes of the Modi government and accused the previous UPA government of failing to tackle terrorism. Lastly, Shah praised Modi for bringing glory to the adivasis in the country and making a tribal woman, Mahamahim Droupadi Murmu, the President.
