During a recent episode of the Ranveer Show Podcast on the YouTube channel Beer Biceps, Union Minister of External Affairs Dr S Jaishankar expressed his strong feelings about incidents that attempt to demean India. He recounted an incident in London where protestors tried to vandalize the Indian High Commission and pull down the national flag, which deeply affected him. Jaishankar emphasized that while personal attacks can be shrugged off, any disrespect or attacks on India as a whole are not acceptable to him.

Discussing the art of diplomacy, Jaishankar highlighted the importance of paying attention to details such as body language, dress, and gestures when interacting with other diplomats, depending on the person, national relationship, and situation.

Regarding the challenges facing the country, Jaishankar acknowledged that the world can be a tough place, emphasizing the need to focus on building strong infrastructure to attract businesses and create job opportunities. He stressed the importance of marketing India as a destination for business and investment.

In response to the increasing influence of global politics, Jaishankar noted the impact of technology in connecting people to the world, leading to a more globalized society where everything from food to information is shared globally. This interconnectedness, he explained, is what defines globalization.
