After a two-year hiatus, the Indian Institute of Management in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, held its convocation on Saturday. This year, a total of 374 students successfully completed various courses offered by the institute, including the Postgraduate Programme in Management, two-year Postgraduate Programme in Business Analytics, Postgraduate Programme in Management for Executives, and Doctoral Programme in Management. The batch toppers were honored with medals during the event.

Sanjeev Sanyal, a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, graced the IIM’s ninth convocation. In a statement, the institute mentioned that Sanyal encouraged the students to remain adaptable in times of uncertainty.

During his speech, the chairman of the IIM’s board of governors highlighted the institute’s efforts to improve gender diversity on campus. He noted that the number of female students has steadily increased over the years, reaching 51 in 2021 and 61 in 2022, marking the highest number of female students in the MBA program to date.

In a recent development, the institute introduced its Executive Master of Business Administration in Analytics program, with 95 students already enrolled in the inaugural batch.
